Khabib Nurmagomedov is ready to give Conor Mcgregor a rematch if his winning streak continues on a huge rate.
Since McGregor lost their grudge match in last October at UFC 229, he has been tough on taking an act of severe revenge on the Russians.
Khabib is now insisting a rematch between himself and the current reigning lightweight king which should take place in Moscow, and he said, “We want this bout in Moscow, the Russian People deserve this bout to take place. The people of the world deserve this bout to take place.”
Khabib insinuates McGregor bluntly saying that the Irishman has much work to be done before being given another chance. As for a rematch, to fight for a belt in the UFC, I remember I had something like 9 or 10 fights.
If he wins ten fight in a row, then that’s completely possible.” Khabib said.
After losing his showdown with Khabib, McGregor hasn’t set foot inside the Octagon. On January 18, these two favourites are expected to be in the cage again on UFC 246, which is to be held at T-mobile Arena, in Las Vegas.
Another fan favourite Donald Cerrone is expected to invite McGregor back into the cage, and he already revealed his will to face the Dubliner, although the UFC president Dana White insisted that the promotion hasn’t discussed the bout with the ‘Cowboy’ yet.
In the UFC 244 post-fight press conference White said that nothing had been done.
“Conor came out and said that. People then said, ‘Is this true?’ And I said, ‘He wants to fight that date.’ But we literally haven’t done [anything].
Nobody has called Cerrone. Cerrone actually text me yesterday and said, ‘I hope all this talk is true. ‘So there is literally nothing done. Zero.”Dana White said.
Meanwhile, Khabib is expected to back in action against the former interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson.
